Dr. Marcus Schütz

Bio Note

Dr Marcus Schütz (1966) was an Executive at Volkswagen, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a Manager at Bosch and a geo-scientist Wardell Armstong. He was non executive advisor for B+L and is currently the General Manager of Swissforecast.

Marcus studied geosciences in Cologne and Essen and taught business at Hong Kong University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Tongji University, Skolkovo and Tilburg. He was APS Chair of Operations Strategy at the University of Malta, engaged in executive education and various Programmes like TRIUM and Ivey Asia. He launched EMBA Global Asia as Assistant Dean in collaboration with LBS and New York University.

Marcus operates globally and lives in Canada and Malta. Among six different countries, he lived 12 years in China, travelled all seven continents and is a life fellow of the Royal Geographic Society. He is a German Army veteran who operated MGM-52 Lance rockets and encrypted communications for conventional and nuclear warheads. He has no iPhone, does not play golf and never goes to the gym.
